Pictures of Xander

Here are some more pictures of Xander. He finally passed his due date and he is starting to behave like a new born at 6 lbs. 7 oz., last weigh in. I get to watch him for his mom,now and then. I'm am so glad that I am the grandma and I get to spoil him as much as possible.

Here is my latest card for the Just Christmas & Birthday Cards challenge. I used another of my Inkadinkado stamps and PC paper. Thanks for looking

A New Job

This last year I substitute taught at our local High School. I discovered that I loved to teach and I really needed to get my teaching license re-established. I put in for several teaching jobs and last Wednesday I was hired to teach POT (Physics) at our local High School. I am excited and nervous. It's hourly for two periods, yet it is a start. I spent last week and all of next week attending class that will help me know what I need to teach (okay, I already know physics) and how it is to be taught. I have the rest of summer (after the wedding) to get myself together and then teach (did I tell you I love to teach?) POT. Yeah, I love teaching, especially science.

JCBC #34

Here is the card for this weeks challenge. I spent a morning watching Xander, and since he is still little enough to spend most of the time sleeping, I took card making stuff with me. I was glad for the time to spend with Xander and the creative time. Paper was old, stamp is new from Inka Dinka Do. Thanks for looking.

Xander went home to live with his Mommy and Daddy two weeks ago, while Mike and I were at Wood Badge (That will be another post.) Today, I went to watch Xander while Abby ran some errands. So I took some pictures. He is growing like a well watered weed. New born size is still large on him, he is now over 5 lbs and 19 inches long. His whole family is so glad to have him home.
This one was just before he let out a yell bigger than he is (or was it gas?).
